Designer musings Angela Vickers is captured in the reflection of the mirror as she studies my bouquet in its new place on the shelf.

The bouquets both of course feature very expensive custom-made broaches, vintage pieces and real gold embellishments. The handles are wrapped in silk or French lace it's filled with feathers and Swarvoski crystal and handmade with love they will make two cracking bijou bouquets for two lucky Bespoke brides x

Coo-Coo for Coral!

For one of our Castle Jewels, her bridal collection is complete.
We love this bride sense of style she really wanted to create the use of block colour in her wedding day which will be May 2015.
She wanted her bridal bouquet to be your ivory white soft firm real touch flowers and for her bridesmaids to be in Bright vivacious coral with the same coloured feathers throughout.
We love her style!
Colour blocking is quite a sassy trend for 2015 brides. Our Bride took a minimalistic approach to anything but the flowers being in her bouquet, she didn't want them over frou, frou or overembellished she wanted the boldness to shine through with the use of colour creating sharp contrasts and visual shock,
I can't wait to see her wedding day pictures!

We completed a bridal bouquet, five bridesmaid bouquets three buttonholes and to corsages hope to hear from my beautiful castle jewel again soon as she's just had a baby girl and want to have some matching wedding accessories for the little one too!

The Great Marsala Debate

The Great Marsala Debate...It's old news now (but I haven't blogged about it yet) so Marsala is the colour of the year 2015!
So what do we think about this burnt red tone? Underrated  or over rawcas?

I think the secret to any colour is mixing it right at: Bespoke vintage Castle we have produced some gorgeous marsala pieces this season stop our discerning and on trend brides

In this absolutely stunning and alluring headpiece bridal: we have matched it with a decadent goldplated comb and added zesty bright pink and lilac shades.

We also create the same Marsala  jewelled embellishment pieces on smaller mini bridal combs, for a delicate and slightly understated elegance.

To be honest we have loved seeing what Marsala can be mixed with. Each time we view it we decide if we like it or not : a bit like that effect of Marmite some love it, then some hate it.
Partly I just think... why would you want it in your wedding? seriously? It's so rugged and masculine it looks like the interior colour of a pirate ship! However then any other part of me thinks ...actually the tone is very pretty and really unique if you colour coordinate well it's to die for!

On Pinterest there is a flurry of brand-new boards and Pinners trying to keep up with this trending tone, here at Bespoke vintage Castle we want to like it too and not just like it... But be swooning over it so weve picked up top five fave colours that we love love love seeing Marsala mixed with!
Here goes the count down:

5.

Although I do love it paired with grey it just is not exciting enough for me personally, and there are far too many more colours in the rainbow that I would rather use for my wedding day than just these..

4.

I really do like it paired up with Sage however that is exactly what you'd expect to do with the colour that this deep and rich so I do like that gentle breakup of the blush that comes through to soften it..

3.
Aquamarine blue a particular favourite colour of mine and I really love it with this cool crisp woodsy look and combined with the Marsala in there; gorgeous!

2.

These colours just exude warmth. I think this would be absolutely spot-on for an autumn themed wedding the richness of the tones with the oranges and reds and the glittering gold is just stunning. it's almost like a combination of similar shades that contrast at the same time adding depth warmth and emotion.

1. Number 1...
This had to be my number one I adore everything about this! Stunning hues from the navy blue is beautifully contrasted and along with that rich hot masala I love the hot pink which is also a cold colour!
Well this is a beautiful spectrum for any discerning 2015 bride and is perfect over spring/summer or autumn/winter this year!
This goes to show that when you don't think of that Marsala on it's own and you mix it well you can make it totally rock for your Big Day!

So there you have it: our top five favourite Marsala mixes, sure to make any 2015 Bride and events stylist swoon even if they don't like this colour and hopefully inspire ..what are your thoughts?
