Trend Report: The Short Wedding dress

The short wedding dress also known as: pixie, cropped, petite: The short wedding dress has been featured on many blogs, in hig end magazines over the years and is sure to hit the runway over the next few weeks as fashion weeks begin all over the globe and wedding fair Fashion shows start.
Channelling Audrey Hepburn or Yoko Ono is one reason to go for a short hemline on the big day – but there are practical considerations too!
What is it about the short wedding dress that is so appealing this year? Even a few of our castle Jewels have already reported that they will be rocking one so why this key trend for 2015?...


Well short dresses are lighter to start, easily transportable for in abroad wedding... and they are so freaking cute!

They are also far more cost-effective as you could potentially pass off a gorgeous white cocktail party dress as your wedding gown spending approximately £100-£300 on your wedding dress!

It is more comfortable and much easier to move in, especially if you plan to throw some shapes on the dancefloor.

You can go to the toilet without assistance.

You get to show off your amazing shoes and legs.



Super trendy and specially for hard-hitting London, Paris and NYC  where the quirky city wedding and catching the bus afterwards to your reception  is very big right now too!


Additionally you can wear it again when your wedding day is through, how many of us would love to jump back into our wedding dresses just one more time??
Its so on trend: that we have noticed it on the runway with all the pictures being released from Milan and Paris this week A delightful repetitive theme is definitely crocheted lace!

 There is this gorgeous throwback 1970s feel about everything on the catwalk from Gucci to Chanel house is cute would it be to rock a gorgeous crocheted lace mini-dress your wedding this 2015 spring/summer season?

Personally I love it! What's wrong about it? you save pennies pot for your honeymoon and they can be accessorised pretty well too!
